A note from Jeremy Storch
to you…
What does ‘living life to the fullest’ mean, anyhow? Does it mean having
the most fun? Parties, sex, travel, food, drink? Is it having a lot of
money, fame and material things?
This
is what I thought living life to the fullest meant for many years. But
after years of living an excessive lifestyle, nearly dying of drug
overdoses several times, being a strung out drug addict, having lost my
career, my relationships, my money, I realized that everything I did to
try to live life to the fullest left me unfulfilled, lost and confused. I
was empty with no purpose or meaning to my life.
Then
one day, I found the answer!
One
day a supernatural power came into my life that gave me substance,
purpose, meaning and love.
And
that supernatural power is God! The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
This God, through Jesus, or Yeshua in Hebrew. Yeshua has the power to
change lives in an instant. He has the power to take away the pain of the
past, the guilt, failures, hurts, disappointment and replace them with
joy, peace, purpose, meaning and love. And that is what He did for me!
And
the amazing thing is that there isn’t anyone that he won’t do this for!
We
try to find purpose and fulfillment our own way, and I tried for many
years to find it my own way. But it did not work! There is only one way
which leads to life – both now and for all eternity. And Yeshua is that
way! He is the way to life. He is the missing ingredient that everyone
is looking for. You see, there is a vacuum in our hearts, our souls, and
our spirits, that will only be filled when we find Yeshua.
Yeshua says in the Bible, John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the
life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Friends, no matter how hard you try, you will not live your life to the
fullest in extreme sports, endurance challenges, or wild parties.
You
won’t find the answers in indulging in all the physical pleasures that are
available, or material things, or relationships. They are temporary
highs.
The
answer is not in YOU. It is in God, Who wants to give it to YOU!
I
want you to be able to know the same joy and peace that I have found in
God through Yeshua. Do you want to experience true peace and joy, too?
